Chapter 10 in the Bedford Book of Genres gives a lot of helpful information on how to assemble multi genre project. However, we were told to not take this information strictly as if it were a rubric, as their description of the project is going to be different then ours in some ways. The basics of the chapter are to further your purpose by making sure each piece of the project contributes to a whole and everything flows together, reach the appropriate audience, and to use rhetorical appeals such as logos, pathos, and ethos. The modes of media are up to the presenter, and from looking over past ENC 2135 students' projects and examples from the textbook, I think I am going to focus on visual representations and social media influences for my project. The the Bedford Book of Genres gives a list of steps to better organize the project, focusing on introductions, sequences, statements, and creativity, which is one of the greatest factors to this project. The overall purpose is what this project is centered around, and I think it is very important to have a clear purpose in mind and on paper, so that when from the moment this project starts to when it ends, there will be a clear rhyme to the project.
